Performers Wanted!

Are you a good singer who loves to perform?

Risley acting members get to appear in two major musicals each year in popular North London theatres.

Risley has a large, loyal membership and we are restricted in the number of performers by space on the stage and in the dressing rooms!

We usually have a few vacancies each year, as people move, youngsters go off to study or other commitments get too great, so you are welcome to enquire and perhaps arrange to visit a rehearsal. The limited spaces available are most likely to be for men of all ages and for younger dancers, male or female, who can sing.

See Risley Rehearsals for details of the rehearsal schedule. You'll need to be free to get to Palmers Green every Tuesday evening - and Thursday evenings too, as the production gets underway.

New members are auditioned to join the company at the start of rehearsals for a new show (late May and early November).

We are also keen to encourage helpers for the vital roles behind the scenes and front of house. We have a great team of regulars, but extra support is often needed. Again, call David if you think you can help. Our Stage Manager and crew are from Acorn Theatre Company - David can pass your details on to Acorn if you have a fondness for stage weights and braces!
